About CoachLeah TM

Born and raised on the Southside of Minneapolis, MN, CoachLeah's vision and goal is to provide optimal performance programming options to arts, academic, and athletic entities through sound - culturally diverse strategies.
CoachLeah's entrepreneurial drive is fueled by her experiences as an elite-level scholar-athlete, her enjoyment of sports, creative writing, motivational speaking, and spending quality time
with family.
Active in Faith Based initiatives, CoachLeah's most recent leadership roles include a stints as Athletic Director for the Texas Christian Athletic League and Coalition Advisor for Houston Responds. A member and part-time staff member of Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church, CoachLeah's current role at WABC includes serving as Graphics Coordinator with the Communications and Technologies Ministry in addition to providing administrative support to the
Production and Livestream eams.

While in High School, CoachLeah was a three-sport All-Conference athlete, a USA Today Top 50 All-American, and held the all-time leading scorer in the Minneapolis City Conference title for a decade. During her tenure, the Washburn Lady Millers made three consecutive trips to the
Minnesota State High School League Girls Basketball State Championships.
CoachLeah attended Tennessee Technological University and played under legendary Marynell Meadors and Bill Worrell on the nationally-ranked
Golden Eaglette women’s basketball team from 1984 – 1987.
While graduating with a B.S. in Speech Communications with a concentration in Broadcast Journalism, a minor in Fashion Merchandising would create a well-rounded and multifaceted skill set for a solid career filled with life-long learning opportunities.
Most recently, CoachLeah was named an American Express Leadership Academy 2019 "emerging leader," and completed the inaugural Spiritual Warrior training for self-mastery in Summer of 2020 with the host of “IYANLA: Fix My Life,” the #1 reality show on the Oprah Winfrey Network, the Rev. Dr. Iyanla Vanzant.
